Zoshy is a collaboration between NMH (Namibia Media Holdings) and the Ministry of Education Arts and Culture. This collaboration forms part of the My Zone school program, where we aim to strengthen the education of the youth in Namibia. We do this by providing educational content to the youth through the use of multiple platforms which includes both print and online media. Namibia Media Holdings are reaching over 600 000 children on a daily basis.
Online Learning
Zoshy’s main aim is to bring the classroom to the safety of your own home and we do this by providing the lessons as well as booklets for your children to use. The booklets are both available in stores and online, through our website. Distribution of the booklets are in English, Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, Khoekhoegowab, Afrikaans, Otjiherero, RuKwangali, siLozi, English, German and sign language. We strive to keep the online booklets as small as possible, so that it is accessible to everyone, even those with a limited internet connection.
Latest Upload
Zoshy is updated daily, so as soon as we upload new content/lessons on to the site, you will be able to see it immediately. Along with our latest updates, we have a daily newsletter which shows you what lessons and books is covered for that specific day.
For pre-primary schools
If you own or manage a pre-primary school for children between the ages of 5 and 6 years old, you can participate in Zoshy's School Booklet Program!
Booklet Information:
- We distribute the booklets country wide
- We offer these booklets in a wide range of languages such as English, Afrikaans, German and many more
- The lessons are designed with your children in mind, meaning it will keep them eager to learn more
- The booklets themselves have step by step lessons on how to use and prepare your booklets.
